Actually the snow is gone and we've had some days with temperatures above 0°C and today I finally found the first tip of one of our spring plants in the back garden. We planted gazillions of bulbs last fall. And I can't wait to see all there fresh greens and bright colours!
Here I post about my knitting, my dogs, my garden and other things that keep me busy. Hundgestrickt is a word that I invented combining the German words for "dog" and for "knit" making it similar to "handgestrickt" for handknit (think of "houndknit") as that's what this blog is mostly about :-)

Converse booties
These were really fun to knit. But weaving in the estimated gazillion of ends was not so funny. But it got done somehow.
I think they are really cute.

Kms run in January 2009
11,67 - Not much if I only look at the number. BUT I jumped back onto the wagon and DID run them! 4 times in one month. That’s like once a week. And we had ice for about two weeks. I tried to run and ignore it but had to see that that wasn’t a good idea. Will lead to a new goal for February. Run more than once a week! Run at least 15 km, better 20.

Hibernation over? !
Well it seems my (blog) hibernation has come to an end.
