It is cold

Just took this pic of our thermometer. -12,1°C. And I think it will still get colder in the next hours until the sun finally will come up. The sensor for the outdoor temp is hanging under the table on the patio right behind the house. The cold wind from the north east makes it even worse.
Not often is it this cold around here. I prefer this dry cold to rain at around 5°C though.
The dog-girls don't like it but old Dingo loves it.
Have a great day everybody!

  1. I think it's probably the same here. We also had a tiny 'flurry' of snow yesterday. The cold will last till mid-next-week, then improve...HOORAY.

  3. Hello Tina! Oh goodness...that's cold for where I live now here in Kansas but in the mountains of British Columbia where I lived for over 30 years...that's just about right although most days were a little warmer. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a message...it's nice to 'meet' you! I'm looking forward to browsing your blog...I saw a few things that you knitted in your other blogs...you're very good at it! I've only knitted a few things in my life but really liked it and I keep telling myself I need to pick up the needles again. One day ;) Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. I think it is similar all over western Europe right now... In northern Germnany and the Netherlands and even in England they even have snow.
Maura, you are welcome over here! Get back to knitting and check out ravelry.com. Gives you so much inspiration...

  5. I think by next week I will have had enough of this weather. I seem to get colder and colder.

Thanks so much for your visit to my blog and your kind comments. I also love the robin. My husband did not think it was a very good photo but I loved it :) Diane
