and thought I'd share this evening's sky with you.

I'm up early and out with the dogs and thought I could share these beautiful fragile poppies in the wheat field with you.

More spring in the garden

Our lilac does really well in the front garden. It was bought as a tiny plant about 25 cm high and is now 4 years a bush as big as I am. And has a great scent and beautiful white blossoms. I had to learn to love the white because it was bought as a light yellow.

The burgundy Irises again, looking very pink here.

And the white "hedge rose", gorgeously open and unfilled.

Things have changed a bit since these pictures were taken, the lawn has been worked on, aired, fertilized, resown, and we have exchanged a few perennials as we had some accidents in cold/dry weather.

Now that the Ice Saints are over I will set up my little green house-shelf during the weekend and bring down all the baby plants from the craft room

We have a blue sky at 7 degrees Celcius - I guess that's actually what is called the Ice Saints.
(More on those later.)
