Good morning

... to a lovely Sunday.
I'm up early and out with the dogs and thought I could share these beautiful fragile poppies in the wheat field with you.
Have a great day!

More spring in the garden

Our lilac does really well in the front garden. It was bought as a tiny plant about 25 cm high and is now 4 years a bush as big as I am. And has a great scent and beautiful white blossoms. I had to learn to love the white because it was bought as a light yellow.

The burgundy Irises again, looking very pink here.

And the white "hedge rose", gorgeously open and unfilled.

Have a great weekend!

Evening Sky

May garden

View from the back door
The white hedge rose
The perennials bed
Burgundy, brownish Irises, and the peonie in the foreground
strawberries and currents (black, red and white)
the veggie bed with mangetouts, garlic, echalottes, salad, radish, arugula, and the clematis climing up the shed, left to it goji berry and blueberry, under them wild garlic
the cold frame with salad, radish, arugula
the view from rambling rose at the shed to the house, happy doggies eating bones included
chives and rosemary

Things have changed a bit since these pictures were taken, the lawn has been worked on, aired, fertilized, resown, and we have exchanged a few perennials as we had some accidents in cold/dry weather.
Now that the Ice Saints are over I will set up my little green house-shelf during the weekend and bring down all the baby plants from the craft room

Thanks for coming over!

Fun at the pond

Myrtille trying to convince herself that she really wants that stick out there,

while Bisou is already shaking that wet stuff off :-)

and Dingo is thinking of his younger days when he was such a strong swimmer?

Another unusually day is promised for today...
Thanks for coming over!

The Old Boy

Can't really believe that it is his 16th birthday today.
These pictures were taken a week ago, when he had fun at the pond, therefore he looks so wet:
Have a great day!

Little White dogs ahead

Another Instant Picture

Some more rain has passed through and the sun is out again. Walking to the pond just because I had the need to see and smell it :-)

Today is different

While not a single drop fell on us yesterday, the dogs and I are just getting wet for the third time today.
The rainbow is absolutely stunning: complete, double, glowing and I can see the inner left "foot".

Evening sky

I am on a walk with the dogs and do hope this rain that is coming down visibly further to the north and to the west won't reach me. And I actually don't think so. But it looks interesting.
