Here I post about my knitting, my dogs, my garden and other things that keep me busy.
Hundgestrickt is a word that I invented combining the German words for "dog" and for "knit" making it similar to "handgestrickt" for handknit (think of "houndknit") as that's what this blog is mostly about :-)
While not a single drop fell on us yesterday, the dogs and I are just getting wet for the third time today.
The rainbow is absolutely stunning: complete, double, glowing and I can see the inner left "foot".
Great shot of the Double Rainbow you got there. Beautiful. Me and my dog went out in the rain today too. It didn't stop her having a lovely time in the wood chasing squirrels! :)
Thanks for your comments on my absolutely improvised, not modified mobile phone pictures. Susan, I haden't heard that expression before, either, jjust tried to describe the point where the rainbow seems to touch the ground, with it's inner half circle, that was a lot brighter, on the left side. Hope this is clearer now :-) Sorry for confusing you.
Hello Tina! So nice to 'see' you again. What wonderful photo's you've taken of this gorgeous bright rainbow! I just realized that it's been years since I've seen a rainbow...how sad. Maybe this year. We do have storms rolling in sometime later today but that means a possibility of Tornadoes. I guess I should expect things like that since we live in 'Tornado Alley'. I hope the rest of your weekend is a bright and sunny one. Maura :)
Thanks for leaving your comment. I am always trying to respond to each of your comments. Check here for my answers if I am not able to reach you directly via e-mail.

Returning from the airport yesterday we were caught in a terrible hail storm. The noise on the car was deafening. When will it end?
ReplyDeleteGuten Morgen!! Love rainbow photos, but could you explain to me what you mean by the "inner left foot?" I had never heard that phrase before. Susan
