Here I post about my knitting, my dogs, my garden and other things that keep me busy.
Hundgestrickt is a word that I invented combining the German words for "dog" and for "knit" making it similar to "handgestrickt" for handknit (think of "houndknit") as that's what this blog is mostly about :-)
Oh, I was going to mention that the regular obedience over here is pretty stiff and formal like yours sounds, with one command, not being able to talk to the dog, etc. I haven't tried it, and don't know if I will because of that. I want to be able to interact and have fun like you said. I think that's one of the reasons they started Rally Obedience, because a lot of people don't like the regular obedience. I do see many regular obedience people playing and having fun with their dogs after the official exercise is done, and a lot of them do Rally too. That's good to see. :-)
Thanks for leaving your comment. I am always trying to respond to each of your comments. Check here for my answers if I am not able to reach you directly via e-mail.
Well done. Is it 10K now?
ReplyDeleteYay!!

ReplyDeleteThanks! Sure, now it is 10K :-)
ReplyDeleteFirst a 5K race on saturday, then continuing to reach 10K/one hour non stop running and getting faster on the 5K.
That sounds really great with rally obedience! And good that most handlers do both :-)
