Hundgestrickt is a word that I invented combining the German words for "dog" and for "knit" making it similar to "handgestrickt" for handknit (think of "houndknit") as that's what this blog is mostly about :-)
I am on the first pattern repeat and having a lot of fun knitting this sweater! Slow progress but back and front done at once- in the round, 320 stitches... 2 mm needles.
2mm needles? That will look so good and drapey when you get it done, but wonder how long it will take??? I hope you get more done than I have on my shawl I have been knitting for the last several months and mine is on 3.75 mm needles. Love the color too.
I don't mind how long it will take me to knit it... It will take a while as I don't have a lot of knitting time and need several projects at the same time as my hands tire easily on a tight knit like this one is. And I knit not only to have something in the end but also for the process of doing it. Just keep adding a few stitches now and then will get to and end some day, too!
