Here I post about my knitting, my dogs, my garden and other things that keep me busy. Hundgestrickt is a word that I invented combining the German words for "dog" and for "knit" making it similar to "handgestrickt" for handknit (think of "houndknit") as that's what this blog is mostly about :-)

Progress on Aberlady
I am on the first pattern repeat and having a lot of fun knitting this sweater! Slow progress but back and front done at once- in the round, 320 stitches... 2 mm needles.

2mm needles? That will look so good and drapey when you get it done, but wonder how long it will take??? I hope you get more done than I have on my shawl I have been knitting for the last several months and mine is on 3.75 mm needles. Love the color too.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind how long it will take me to knit it... It will take a while as I don't have a lot of knitting time and need several projects at the same time as my hands tire easily on a tight knit like this one is. And I knit not only to have something in the end but also for the process of doing it. Just keep adding a few stitches now and then will get to and end some day, too!
ReplyDeleteThis looks very promising!
ReplyDeleteMine still lacks one sleeve... I'll have it finished one day.
